Hardly.
-
Not really but I was well known from my 15m of fame
-
Absolutelty NOT! I was a total geek, despised by bullies around the world.
-
Would you consider "popular" as being a geek, bullied, and ridiculed schoolwide? If so, than yes, I was.
-
i wasn't popular in that cliche high school movie kinda way, but people were always amused by me and i was known as the party girl
-
i am a teenager, and i am soo not popular.
-
I don't think popular is the adjective that comes to mind.
-
I was always into dancing during my early teens before i became a dance teacher, im (19 now) girls where quite jealous but i was always popular with the guys so yes i suppose.. =)
-
Not even a little bit.
-
I was not 'popular' before, during, or after my teenage years...:-P... . . .
-
I am a teenager and I do not consider myself popular.
-
i am 14 and i am the outcast of my highschool
-
To be honest, I really don't know. I preferred my own company and only sort others out now and then. I did not give in to peer pressure and always did my own thing. For all that, I was not picked on in high school and people often talked to me or sort my advice.
-
Not at all, i was the Gothic loner and many other labels people put on me back then.
-
No way!
-
Yes, somewhat.
-
Kindof/sortof. I was "popular" among the "unpopular" people. I hung out with the geeks, nerds, stoners, etc. crowd. I got along with the "other" kids, but I was never the cheerleader/typical popular kid.
-
I was very popular indeed.....................with the police.
-
No, I didn't agree with what was popular. I got along with everyone
-
Not in a cheerleader, head of the class kind of way. I had lots of friends and I always got the A list party invites though.
-
Not at all! I had good friends but I'd never win a populrity contest. Didn't even try or care about that.
-
NO, I was a total dork, still am, only now I'm gigantic and I look evil
-
No. I was very shy and stayed to myself most of the time.
-
No..I was very shy and introverted in grammar school and slowly, through the years, became less so. But I was always an "outsider", bookish, quiet and while I did have one friend throughout my school years, she "dumped" me in 10th grade..I think because she started hanging out with the more popular kids and I just wasn't a good fit. That experience taught me that I could not count on others to be there forever..that people change, circumstances change and you have to learn to adjust to it! :)

with the boys;)
-
Within my close circle of friends, I was very popular. Everybody loved a clown.
-
I never wanted to be popular. I just wanted to enjoy my friends and ride my horse, hang out at the beach. School cliques and things never called out to me.
-
No, we moved alot so I was a bookreading wall flower.
-
it's hard to say - I became pregnant as a teenager so i am not sure if my popularity was just for people to hang out with me for gossiping material or if they genuinely liked me.
-
Only with the opposite sex.

I'm from Ireland and being popular isn't such a big deal. I've watched some American tv shows and I can't believe they're that mean to each other. I mean sure I've met people I didn't get on with in Ireland but we didn't torture each other. The whole concept of popularity is silly too. A result of a society totally focused on getting the spotlight on themselves. The people who are well respected where I'm from are the ones who put other people before themselves not those who constantly think of ways they can get people to like them. That's completely self-serving. As far as I'm concerned it's not the popular kids who deserve to be hated in these shows it's the kids who desperately want to be popular. Talk about narcassistic. If you want people to like you all you have to do is show a little interest in them.

In high school, I had few friends I actually hung out with (maybe 5 at most), though everyone knew who I was and I wasn't really bullied at all. Now, in college (i.e. year 12), I still wouldn't say I'm popular, but I do have a lot of friends I hang out with (at least 30, obviously don't hang out with them all at the same time) and a lot of people know me. But I wouldn't consider that popular. Just... known. Feels like I'm boasting but I don't mean to be...
-
No I was just trying to survive home life abuse and hopefully graduate, which I did.
-
yes...yah i was but i gess i never reilized it
-
No,I was too shy then.
-
No I wasn't that popular but I had emotional issues from the divorce that retarded my social growth. It took a while for me to come out of my shell.
-

-
yes i was i am still in my teenage years still but i was one of those girls you could talk to about anything if you needed help with anything but popularity dosent really matter its more of your work at school:)
-
i was not popular - i was a hippie LOL in a crowd of aggies and sporties
-
Nope. :)
-
No, I never really fit in but I've had some pretty amazing friends so I was ok with being unpopular.
-
Not to brag, but even though I ended 12 grade about half a month ago, I was pretty popular around the school. Of curse the reason for this was not only the fact that I'm a very friendly person, but I'm a magician, so it was easy to get a reputation around. I would often have people randomly walk up to me and say "hey you're that magic guy, show me a trick"
