I don't know what it was, but it sure was a regretful purchase, for most part it's been broken down in front of my house, and I just keep dumbing tons of cash in it and can't getting it running even for long enough to sell it...

A good Consumer Reports write up on the 99 Ford Taurus did it for me. I did them one better and bought a 99 Mercury Sable and I still have it to this day.

It was very handy for where we live, great in snow, can hold a lot in the back. A full grown newfoundland dog can stand up in the back. SO we got a Subaru Forester.

The lease on my GMC Jimmy was up and I didn't like what I saw on the GM dealership where I dealt. When I told my lease-rep they all looked like balloons on wheels he suggested he'd lease me a really great car - an Acura. From a GM guy? I wondered. I went into the Acura dealership, told them the truth that I just wanted to test-drive one so I could tell the GM guy whether I liked it or not. The rep took me for a test drive, I liked it so much I decided to lease one. He gave me a set of numbers that I took back to GM. He said he couldn't match them so I went back to Acura and took theirs. I've bought several cars from them since.

Television commercial. I spotted this vehicle and i told my wife that i had to have that car. It was a 2000 Toyota Solara, 2 dr., pewter gray, leather interior and a design right out of Hollywood. I fell in love with that car then and still in love with it today. When i went to pickup my Solara at the dealer in 2000. my wife had a huge red ribbon tied around it. it was a gorgeous auto. i even loved the sun roof. I would buy a brand new one today, if i could find a new 2000 Toyota Solara. Best car i have ever owned. period.

Needed a newer van to get hand-controls and scooter lift installed by Voc Rehab, and knew we liked Voyager. We ended up with a Town and Country, but they are close.

It was the best anser for this question: Since I have kids and need to do the responsible thing and get rid of my crazy-fast R1 (crotch-rocket), what car will do the following: Be safe, fun, FAST, easy to customize and make faster and handle well on the freeway in bad winter condition (since I work 7 miles out of town and live in the Pacific Northwest), and isnt tooo much $$ ?? The Answer: Impreza WRX. Turbo FAST, all-wheel drive, 4 door for the family and a safe car. Did i mention fast??!?

Love...I loved it and still do. I flew up to sydney to get my car (the whole hour flight..ouch! haha) and everytime i have to make a damn payment..it's ok, i just remind myself of that love..it does bring me a lot of happiness, even though it's just a car, it's my car!

Cheap, reliable. It was a close family friend's car...who just happened to be a mechanic. ((: It's a 1996 Chevy Cavalier 4door LS Sedan. I like it. I needed a car because I definetly wasn't driving my dad's old rusted out 1996 Dodge Caravan lol. I would have like no friends at all hahahahaha
