Simply put..tribes, just about all groups of tribes that have existed followed a basic communist doctrine. This could be done because of the relatively small populations of the tribes, and task to be done as a collective was necessary as to insure their survival. Once the population starts to get to big, such as our societies today, communism will fail as it has time after time in our recent history.
