  • I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about, but as long as what someone is doing doesn't directly affect me, then I really don't care. I'm not one who thinks that what one woman does is degrading to all women like some think. In fact, a lot of things that people think are degrading, I don't see it that way. Now, something like "girls gone wild" that's degrading, but only to the girl who's doing it. Maybe not even degrading, just stupid! lol But if you're talking about the skimpy outfits on shows like dancing with the stars, I don't see anything wrong with that at all.
  • humm, i dont really pay attention. When i was younger and bothered by my body and looks I hated that stuff and it upset me. Now i just don't pay attention.
  • I feel somewhat sad when I see the commercials for shows like The Bachelor and the women are fighting each other. I grew up in the 60s and 70s through the women's lib movement, and in some ways I feel proud when I see my daughter playing soccer and doing things that she would not have been able to do in the 50s and 60s. In other ways, I feel like we've taken a step backwards where women are objectified on a grander scale.
  • I don't care. If other women want to take their clothes off for entertainment, it's their problem not mine. It doesn't bother me. If those women feel degraded, then they're the only ones. I don't feel disgraced by other people of my genders actions.
  • It's called marketing!
  • Sex sells. Always has, always will.
  • It doesn't bother me. Not my business. And whether or not it is degrading is a matter of opinion I guess. I imagine if it bothers anybody they are just jealous or controlling. Live and let live, ya know.
  • no I have a button that turns the television off and another one that turns the channel if I don't like what I'm watching I turn the channel or I turn the TV off. on the other hand I am sad that no one has taught them how valuable (sacred) their bodies really are.
