  • There is a range of temperatures that results in food spoilage. Food must be kept out of the "food danger zone". The danger zone is between 40 degrees and 140 degrees. This is the zone where bacteria grows. Below 40 degrees bacteria will not grow. Above 140 degrees it will be killed. This is just a guideline. If you left food out in this zone and it spoils, it spoils. Frezzeing nor heat will reduce the damage. If in doubt, throw it out.
  • 7-9-2017 Food does not spoil, it's only that something eats it before you do. That depends on the presence of that something, and each example has its preferred temperature range.
