  • my cat adores me. I only have to call her and she starts drooling. She lives for my attention and goes all gooey when I pick her up.
  • This might answer your question; I discovered this in a cat's diary . . . DAY 752 - My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from ruining the occasional piece of furniture. Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant. DAY 761 - Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded, must try this at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair...must try this on their bed. DAY 762 - Slept all day so that I could annoy my captors with sleep depriving, incessant pleas for food at ungodly hours of the night. DAY 765 - Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body, in attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts. They only cooed and condescended about what a good little cat I was...Hmmm. Not working according to plan ...... DAY 768 - I am finally aware of how sadistic they are. For no good reason I was chosen for the water torture. This time however it included a burning foamy chemical called "shampoo." What sick minds could invent such a liquid. My only consolation is the piece of thumb still stuck between my teeth. DAY 771 - There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary throughout the event. However, I could hear the noise and smell the foul odor of the glass tubes they call "beer." More importantly I overheard that my confinement was due to MY power of "allergies." Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage. DAY 774 - I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously a half-wit. The Bird on the other hand has got to be an informant. He has mastered their frightful tongue (something akin to mole speak) and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room his safety is assured. But I can wait. It is only a matter of time.
  • I'm tolerating my cat!
  • dogs have masters-cats have servants----smile and enjoy the day
  • Who can tell what a cat is thinking.
  • My cat LOVED me.
  • I've only had one cat in my life. It was given to me as a gift because, "Everyone loves cats!" It didn't love me and the feeling was more than mutual.
  • The one I adopted loves my fiance, and his cat fell in love with me, leaping over him on the couch to get to me...go figure?
  • My cats adore me!!!!!
  • My cats love me...but one of my cats thinks shes a dog..go figure !!! :)
  • They both love me, they know who feeds and plays with them.
  • My cat loves me when it is convienient for her.
  • she loves me,and i love her.
  • I'd say that our cats TRUST us and come to us for affection. I don't know whether cats love people, but they love a reliable food source, the right kind of petting and skritching, and warm places to sleep. In return, they will agree to purr, greet guests, squeeze their eyes shut in that contented way that they have, sit on laps, walk figure-eights around your ankles when you're trying to make supper, and stay off the table when it suits them. Is that love? For a cat, it probably is.
  • I think she loves me. "Akane" will come when called, for starters, albeit only most of the time because appearances have to be maintained. She knows the instant I am awake and always comes to greet me in the morning. When I come home she runs to the door and greets me, and will not leave me alone until I have bent down to pet her head, and she will stand up and balance her paws on my knee to meet me halfway. If I sit down and pat my lap, she will come running and sleep in my lap for hours. She'll come sit in my lap anyway even if I don't call her. If someone comes into my home who causes me any kind of stress, she picks up on it and the intruder's shoes and ankles will pay dearly for his or her crime(s). I sometimes think Akane refers to my brother-in-law, who does stress me out a lot, as "Eater Of Kittens", for all the damage she tries to do to him. Akane likes to flip on her back and look cute for those she wishes to destroy, for should they fall into Akane's trap and reach down to pet Akane, she now can slice into the intruder's hand with all four sets of claws. She is very smart and understands many English words and how pictures and mirrors operate. Back when she was a kitten she didn't understand how mirrors worked. Being the jealous sort, when I held her and stood in front of a mirror, she saw me "holding another kitten" and turned around and swatted me. These days the only time the Paws Of Justice are turned on me are when I am most completely and emphatically wrong, such as during her B-A-T-H (she's on my lap right now and as I mentioned understands some English words...).
  • Two of them REALLY love me, two of them only love me when I get out the cat food, and the older one barely tolerates me, I think because he is a rescued stray and he was used to being on his own so doesn't know how to bond with a human. He's getting better, let's me pet him now or will sit on the back of the sofa with one paw on my shoulder, but he can't sit still for long when I pet him or scratch his neck. It took 4 months to get him to allow it at all.
  • yes i guess so,m she loves me. she seeks my attention, jumps everywhere when i'm not looking at her and follows me, so guess she likes me... right ^__^?
  • Funny, I was wondering where Sam was, and I was laughing at the posts and moved my foot, and he had come to see what I was going to write. Sam was a rescue from the pound, and a fave of theirs...I had just lost my second cat and after a few months of no feline love, I volunteered to foster a cat. I went through a class, and then they said they would call when I was needed. A while later they called, but I was now in the process of moving (doing it myself, so I was taking a bit of time) and requested a fixed female, as I was concerned about spraying and having to clean it up at 2 places. When I got there, they wanted me to take Sam, an unfixed male. They really felt he should be the one I should take, and he had a bit of a cough (that's why they were fosters) and they didn't have any others available for fostering, so Sam had a temp home. On the drive home, he "had me"/melted my heart as he licked my hand, and mewed his little teeny mews, because he is kind of a long boy,; it's disconcerting how quiet and kitten-like he sounded. He is a chicken-cat, very hesitant and scared of strangers, probably because he may have been a stray; he learned to tolerate my picking him up, but is still very scared of everyone else, though now he will be in the same room with some others. I think he loves me, because he likes to curl up to sleep "holding paws" with me.
  • Most of our cats seem to really love us and look to us for affection. Sure at times they look down their noses at us but they are so glad when we are there petting them. We are wonderful servants to them
  • LOves Me but sometimes i think she merely tolerates me
  • TO TOLERATE MEANS YOU GO TO THEM, VISA VERSA MEANS THEY COME TO ME AND THEY COME TO ME AND SLEEP BY ME. THATS NOT TOLERATE, ITS LOVE.
  • My one cat loves and adores me! I just have to call his name and he comes a runnin! Hes a very unique kitty. He will sleep with me almost every night. I dont mean just next to me. • She seems to like me because she comes into my bedroom a few times a day just to chill.
  • that depends....sometimes Im her scratching post, sometimes she uses me to improve her tracking skills, sometimes she uses me to get affection, but most times Im just her servant.
