  • Financially no. As a choice sure.
  • Yes, I'm pro choice.
  • Not at all. But I do understand the need for it. I dont condone it but would never look down on someone for making that choice.
  • Yes I do.
  • Only after the character of the mother, and the circumstances of the pregnancy have been investigated and determined to be reasonable.
  • only if its in cases of incest or rape. I just got back from the clinic to support my friend, man that place is incredibly gloomy. Not going back again.
  • I support every woman's right to choose whether or not to give birth.
  • I support freedom. Most of which are systematically being taken away.
  • NO! I DO NOT SUPPORT MURDER!
  • No! It's murder. A life is taken with total disregard for it.
  • Not at all!!
  • Yes, but not as a form of birth control.
  • I am pro-choice. I do not believe that women should use abortion as a form of birth control, but I do think that the right to safe abortion is a necessary evil in this world we live in.
  • if pregancy is the cause of rape..i would say yes...abort...its better then resenting an innocent child forever...lame huh...but hey its true..rape is hard enought o get over, and if i got pregnant after i was raped, i dont think i wouldve had the baby...even carrying it wouldve been a constant reminder of such a horrid nightmare...i still have nightmares, i dont need any help in that catagory
  • Only under certain circumstances such as the woman was raped and got pregnant as a result of the rape or if she was in an incestious relationship or there was very strong credible medical evidence that carrying the pregnancy to full term could put the mothers life in extreme danger then I would agree abortion was a feasable option. However when you get two selfish people who already know before hand that they don't want kids for whatever reason having unprotected sex I think she should be forced to carry the pregnancy through. I am not talking about people who are responsible and take all the precautions necessary to prevent it but it happens anyway I'm talking about those who give the bullshit excuse that using protection takes away from the pleasure of the experience. People like that should not have the option to have an abortion. They should be forced to carry through with the pregnancy and suffer the consequences of their selfish decision to not take the necessary precautions to prevent getting pregnant.
  • I wouldent abort a child whether I was raped. a one night stand or in a relationship.. However I got pregnant i would not kill a new life.
  • Just as Antigone said, it's her body, it's her birth, it's her choice.
  • No, I do not support abortion. Life is sacred. I would allow for safe, legal abortion in the case of severe danger to the mother. Situations of rape and incest also concern me, but I think this should always be resolved between the mother and God. It is a terrible balancing act that I really don't enjoy thinking about, and I know that God loves the mother equally. I am strongly against abortion as a form of birth control. I cannot think of anything worse. I do not believe that abortion should be used to help someone maintain a lifestyle or social class. Adoption should be considered in this case, as there are very many parents who are wanting a lifestyle that includes children that they cannot have.
  • It is the woman's choice not anyone else, and the church needs to leave their two cents out of it
  • No. I read somewhere, "If it's not a baby, you're not pregnant" and that made sense to me.
  • I understand that there are times and situations where women choose to abort (rape, difficult times, etc) and I understand why they come to that decision. When I was younger I used to think that if I were to get pregnant I would get an abortion. But now, I couldn't do it. I would always think about it and hate myself for doing it. After all, a baby is not a disaster. Babies are lovely. There are worse things that could happen - like getting AIDS.
  • This is a rather awkward issue.... The problem is that I live in an awesome country with a constitution that GAURANTEES certain rights. I very much like that. It says a Muslim CANNOT force his religion onto a Christian and vise-versa. It allows freedom from opression of other people and allows us, as free individuals, the freedom of choice we all value intensely. I am against abortion. I feel it is morally wrong. If you don't want a child it is IMPERATIVE you take the responsability to insure it doesn't happen. An abortion is an "easy out" but it takes a life and there MUST be another answer. We all need to be responsible. HOWEVER UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL I FORCE MY MORALS ON ANOTHER PERSON. I have to live with my decisions and they have to live with theirs. Every American has the freedom to choose if they want an abortion and I can offer my opinion if they ask but THE CHOICE BELONGS TO THEM. Abortion is not "a fix" for an individual's "slip ups". THOSE HOWEVER ARE MY MORALS. "Live free or die".
  • No. But I do support the right to choose. That is and should be nobodys business.
  • i support choice. and feminism.
  • I am totally against abortion in every way. I feel that there are better options than that.
  • Maybe I do and maybe I don't.
  • No, I hold all life, no matter how early as sacred and precious. I hate abortion being used as birth control or the easier way out of a very bad situation. It's not the only answer. I would hope people would use their choices and decisions in better ways so that the situation wouldn't arise and with wisdom and maturity it can happen. Instances of rape and abuse are really tough to go through. I guess people have to do what they feel is best. Abortion wouldn't be my choice because I would choose to deal with it best as I could with help from friends and family. But then again, I have great support systems.
  • as much as i support murder. so.. the answer is "no" the only case when its ok, is if the mother's life is in danger, then its self-defense, and not murder. however, abortion is very very rarely an issue of the mother's life being in danger, as much as her life's comfort being in danger. and this i find unacceptable
  • Abortion is simply murder of an unborn child. Its ALWAYS wrong!!!
  • Woman choose abortion when she's not ready to raise children. If she choose to give birth to a child, she choose a lifestyle that is totally upside-down. She would no longer able to live a life she wanted to live for at least 20 years, if not all the rest of her life. From the woman's point of view, abortion is the right thing to do if she does not want a child. Unfortunately, those believe in many lives find that "babies have souls". A baby chooses to be your child because he/she is either your creditor or debtor. You should enjoy/suffer the consequence as the result of having him/her in this life until you both are even. If a woman takes away a baby's "right of living", from the baby's point of view, she killed him/her. The baby will never rest to turn the mother's life with thousands of obstacles, until they both are even. Mothers often find that her relationship/marriage end up with horror, because the baby is taking revenge. The same thing happens to the father. A solution is to chant Buddism scripture for millions of times (you must consult a master), to help the baby's soul to leave the nether world and find a mother again. Remose is the first step. She should never take an abortion again. In my opinion, one should always ensure contraception. Both woman and man should take it seriously.
  • i dont think you should be able to kill an innocent child, even in the result of rape. the child did nothing. its was the abuser who should be killed, not the fetus. if you absolutley can't handle having a baby as a reminder of the rape, you can absolutley go for adoption. There are plenty of people who aren't able to concieve. In the fact of incest, i do think abortion would be a good plan, as well as if the mothers life is in danger. BUT, under no other circumstances do i believe you can abort something that can have a future, and a life. It's gods gift to you, he chose to have that baby live in your womb.
  • I do not agree with abortion unless the pregnancy puts the mother's life in jeopardy. I believe that the moment the father's sperm enters the mother's egg, the DNA combine to start a new and separate life. The life is both part the mother and part the father. So I don't understand the concept that women say it's just part of them, it's their body, their choice. I feel that if it is going to be a legal option for women to have an abortion, they should have to have the father's signed consent. It's his child too. If she doesn't want it, then she can terminate her rights after the child is born and hand the baby over to the father. I've heard too many times that women just get an abortion without even telling the poor guy that he had created a baby. I'm sure at least a few of these men would have liked the chance to raise their babies that were unknowingly taken away without their consent. What about the father's rights? I also don't feel that a woman should be allowed to have an abortion without full disclosure about the procedure. She should have to watch a video of an abortion being performed-both from the doctor's view and the fetus'. So many women don't think the 'thing' growing inside them is anything close to a baby, but ultrasounds show a very different picture. If a woman can watch a child either being suctioned apart and then having their skull crushed with forceps to allow it to be sucked out of the womb or discarded babies with their skin burned off from saline solution from abortions, then I don't think she has the heart to be a mother and should go through with it.
  • No, I do not support abortion. I believe giving life is not a choice, but using a condom is. Choose condoms!
  • No, I don't think a child should be killed because they're inconvenient for the mother.
  • Abortion scares me. It says that the unborn are not valuable, are "things" that can be thrown away. It re-defines the rights of individuals, esp. the child. It gives the right to kill based on desperation, irresponsibility, or inconvenience. It no longer protects the most innocent and vulnerable members of our society. Who's next? ___________________________ Abortion can be looked at as: popultion control, an industry; and a personal solution to an unwanted pregnancy. No doubt, these women would probably not have made good mothers. (one theory).Or is it because they are under the influence of/pressures of Society?Since they say it's "their" body it can be argued that some of "that DNA" belongs to the father and therefore he should have some rights. Perhaps he should at least have the "Right to Know".Hmm, that opens a few doors of thought.
  • Not unless is has to do with the mothers life.
  • Well I'm going to get DRed like a mother for my opinion, but I think abortion is a fantastic idea. MY OPINION!!!: I think that the world is being horribly overpopulated and that we need less people in the world. I mean seriously, TOO MANY!!! I think that a freaking population control law should be put into effect so that population will stop growing. I'm all for China's 1 child measure. It stopped about 400,000,000 births which is GOOD. Bring on the DRs.
  • I support a woman's right to chose whether or not to have sex. I support a woman's right to chose to use birth control. I support comprehensive sex education. And because I believe in those things, I support a child's right to live. You've already made your choice.
  • Children deserve the right to live - so I obviously don't support that.
  • hell no!!!!!!i think that aborion is wrong and it should be illegal all around the world there are so mny different types of abortion like the PARTIAL BIRTH abortion (illegal in the united states)this is what happens...Intact D&X, or partial birth abortion first involves administration of medications to cause the cervix to dilate, usually over the course of several days. Next, the physician rotates the fetus to a footling breech position. The body of the fetus is then drawn out of the uterus feet first, until only the head remains inside the uterus. Then, the physician uses an instrument to puncture the base of the skull, which collapses the fetal head. Typically, the contents of the fetal head are then partially suctioned out, which results in the death of the fetus, and reduces the sizes of the fetal head enough to allow it to pass through the cervix. The dead and otherwise intact fetus is then removed from the woman's body. dont believe me go to healthline.com and type in partial birth abortions and click on the second link another form of abortion is MANUAL VACUUM. This procedure can be used up to 10 weeks after the last menstrual period (early first trimester). It is the only surgical abortion procedure available before 6 to 7 weeks of pregnancy. It involves the use of a specially designed syringe to apply suction. This method is not available everywhere, but it may be more available than machine aspiration in some geographic areas. another is MACINE VACUUM This procedure is the most common method used in the first 6 to 12 weeks (first trimester) of pregnancy. Machine vacuum aspiration involves the use of a hollow tube (cannula) that is attached by tubing to a bottle and a pump, which provides a gentle vacuum. The cannula is passed into the uterus, the pump is turned on, and the tissue is gently removed from the uterus. ABORTION IS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!! once that baby is concived once the sperm enters the egg that baby is alive that baby is feeding off of you that baby is taking your blood from the unblical cord and getting nutritents from what you eat you are responsible for it now im only 15 i havent had a baby yet but if i were to get pregnant before i was ready i would never never have an abortion if i had to that baby would go up for adoption but killing it is wrong if u murdered someone becasue i didnt like them or because you didnt want them in your life you would be put in jail well abortion is the same thing you are killing a humanbeing because u dont want it it was most likley you god damed falt that you got pregnant in the first place becsaue uhad unprotected sex maybe you should think next time yes somethimes people get raped or the condom breaks or the birth controll was faulty but thats still no reason to kill the baby here are some videos so that you can understand better watch the first one it explains soo much of what i havent APORTION IS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I support women's right to choose. I do not care for abortion.
  • You are out to start trouble. This is a free country whereas everyone is free to do as they deem what is best for them. Is abortion right or wrong who knows but the fact is that the person or persons affected they are free to make decisions for themselves and anyone else needs to stay out of it unless it directly afftecs them. Mr Bill
  • It is a cruelty. How can I support it. I am completely against it.
  • I do not like the idea of Abortion, but I think that it is neccessary. I believe that women should be free to have Abortions on demand for the 1st three months of pregnancy.I think that Abortions after this time should only be carried out if there is a good medical reason.I also believe that Abortions in the last three months of pregnancy should only be performed if the mothers life is in danger. My view is that a fetus is not a person until after about 5 or 6 months and so it should not be given full human rights until this time. Christians are generally opposed to Abortion, but the Bible does not prohibit Abortion. Christian opposition to Abortion is more to do with traditions than Religion.
  • I respect the right of the individual to choose. On a personal level I would not be able to live happily with the guilt it would leave me.
  • It is not a issue if I am for or against it.It is the law and should remain that way.Who is perfect enough to judge others and their decisions when it comes to their bodies?
  • I am for it only if a female is raped, or a baby is going to be born horrifically deformed, but not as a means of birth control.I Know this is a controversial subject and I am only expressing my own opinion, others will differ.
  • I am pro choice. I don't think unless you have been in the situation of requiring to consider it you are properly qualified to comment. Theories are great but they're just theories, aren't they?
  • I beleive it's personal choice though it is not a choice I would ever make or agree (unless absolutly medically necessary) but I would support a friend if that was there choice
