It gave me an avocation when I was younger (through college) - I played quitar and wrote about 100 songs and even more poems and what I call "fits and starts" and a batch of titles for songs back then. It gave me quite a large number of friends through HS (was in two choirs Jr & Sr year, not including my church choir). It gave me a bit of extra cash when I worked with a some bands my friend had joined, running sound and lights AND at times singing harmoney from the board. Through work, it gave me melodic and lyrical "noise" other than the hum-drum, and noises of an office. Music gave me a lot throughout my life. I'm thankful for it! ;-)

"If a composer could say what he had to say in words he would not bother trying to say it in music." -Gustav Mahler. Music has always been a part of my world. It has inspired me and healed me. It will become part of my career and will always be a part of my life. I sing and play on my instruments every day. It brings me such joy and healing.
