  • WARNING: long unnecessary rant to make a point that culd be summed up in a sentence or two. My apologies. The N-word is negative, and a word to bring people down. It has to much history and pain behind it for many Black Americans. But Nigga'? Not sure how its different but again, like the N-word...should realy remain within the race. If its said by someone elese it has a different amount of power and a whole history brougth up. For example, you may hear someone say spic, wetback, chink, or something else stupid...if they arent in the race it tends to offend alot more because more history (typically of discrimination) is put behind it. If youre white, for exmaple, would someone callign you a Cracker (who wasnt white) offend you? For most people I've met, it does. But other whites can freely say it to each other, in most cases, without getting angry. SO my whole point is that the word seems to seem worse if said by another race and doesnt have as much racial tension behind it. Would Cracka' be better? Um, probably not...I feel like the word "Nigga'" came up because people didnt have good education in certain areas...so basically, its still the same word.
  • cuz cracker ain't shit compared to nigger. Spick, wetback, pollack, kaik, gooke, ain't shit compared to nigger. Cracker is just a joke. cracka lol come on now, you playin, right, nigga?
  • Who would walk around sayin "What's up CRACKA?"................LAME
  • Maybe because whites have used the N-word for a long time. I guess saying cracker is acceptable as payback for all those years.
  • "Cracker" is not considered to be as offensive because white people have not historically been mistreated as much as black people have.
