I got trapped in the elevator at work. Probably for about 30 minutes with another guy who was above me on the organizational chart, lol. He was cool. It's an adventure not everyone has.

close to an hour. yes I was by myself. When they got me out there was a strong order of marijuana present. Go figure

Well, I've never been trapped on an elevator per se, but I was trapped for 3 1/2 hours on something worse: Splash Mountain. (You know, the ride at Disney World) My Dad, brother, sister, and I were trapped in the section with THE MOST IRRITATING SONG IN THE UNIVERSE playing over and over and over and over and over and over and over................why the people running the ride didn't turn the damn sound off OR try to EVACUATE the people on the ride, I can't even begin to guess. Although I suspect it is because they are the devil.

40 minutes when the power went out. It was pitch black, except for me using my phone as a torch. Nobody else was with me. I had a pocket knife handy, & I managed to unscrew the phillips heads out of the air con panel in the roof by standing on a big box (I'd just bought an R/C car from the hobby shop) when the lights came back on & it started moving again..

About 5 minutes with my grandparents when I was very little. It wasn't long but if I am alone or don't have a cell phone I will not go on an elevator.

I was trapped for about 20 minutes because me and about 3 of my freinds all jumped at the same time just as the elevator was reaching the ground floor. There were people actually waiting outside and they heard the noise when we all landed just as the elevator was stopping and they thought something really bad happened. Somebody pried the doors open and we were 2 feet lower than we should have been.

Well...i wasn't really trapped...i just stayed in there a LONG time...with a French woman.

Only until I said' this is my floor' they made a path and let me out. I have no idea who the others were, but I assume they were veterans or Healthcare personnel
