  • are you planning something we should know about?
  • it is recorded that people on PCP have done things like that - survived gunshots longer than they should have or knife wounds longer
  • I don't know. Want to test it out? Call me!
  • Depending on the drugs, yes. I hope that the reason you are asking all these questions is because you are writing a crime novel....
  • depends on the bullet energy and how high they are. Also, where the impact is.
  • Yes, in many cases hard drugs can take most if not all the pain away from the actual wound. Though the attempt to fight back would of course be laughable.
  • If you're talkin about pot then no, but if you're talking about pcp then yes.
  • yes. that was actually the reason for the adoption of the .45 ACP cartrage over the the .38 special during the Phillipene insurrection. with the advent of rapidly firing weapons with high capacity magazines the need for "man stopper" bullets has deminished-although they are still favored amoung elite units.
  • If a person is high on angel dust or acid or any mind deluding drug for the heart rate and adrenline is pumping through the heart yes a person being shot is more prone to violenc than rational thought.
  • if they are on PCP then certainly, as long as the shot was not an immediate kill shot, such as to the head or spinal cord.
  • Yes, if the person is so high he couldn't feel pain. The brain pass out when overloaded with pain signals coming from the various organs.
  • Yes, some even not. This is a true story: A mob hit a few minutes after I passed the corner. A guy about 450 pounds was hit 18 times with 9mm sub machine gun fire and not one bullet penetrated. What the VC did was wrap rope or something around their arms and legs to act as tourniquets before they got hit and did do drugs. I have read that many insurgents in Iraq were stoned out early in the war. Drugs will change the way you think and feel especially mind altering. POT is THC which is a hallucinogenic so smoke enough of it and yes it too can have an effect.
  • Possibly. It depends on how they are dressed, what drugs they are on, and (most importantly) what gun was used. A .25 is more of a nuisance than anything, but I don't think there is enough PCP or Kevlar to take multiple .50 BMG hits.
  • In the exact same spots two people, one drug crazed, the other not. Yes.
  • Thats what I have heard. I have seen it on the show COPS b4. The police talk about people on LSD dont feel much pain and it takes alot to get em down.
  • Yes, depending on the drugs. They can dull pain, and one reason people go down when they get shot is simply the realization that they've been shot - if they're too out of it to realize that they'll keep going.
  • A drug that slows down the heart beat could in theory give you a bit of extra time. What kills you is blood loss or organ damage. However it is rarely instantaneous so you could keep moving until the vital organ shuts down
  • Somalies have used it its called khat.
  • A person high on adrenalene combined with speed or crystal meth are dangerous for they have an accelerated heart beat along with a weapon yes it will take a vital shot to take them down cause once it starts to happen you better stop it quik or he will stop you.
  • its no urban myth. PCP addicts have been known to take alot before they go down and so have others adren/speed/etc who have tried the same thing. The only thing is the cops have techniques now that counter these attempts. Certain areas of the body if damaged overcome any use of drugs to steel the body.
  • and come back to life when everyone thought he was dead!
  • A person High on cocain speed angel dust, and of course heroin, the heroin addict feels desperation and sees no consequence of his actions and has nothing to loose. as wirh the other on drugs they are leathaly dangerous for they are so pumped as it is that they cannott see or feel no pain along with the adrenelene and speedy drugs one is hell bent on getting their own way and if you are in that way at least get some distance so that your vantage point increases
  • PCP and crystal meth are ones I would think would be able to buy a little extra time. Both are evil though.
  • yes. in veitnam, sappers(suicid bombers) were given PCP. I have read first hand accounts of soilders in veitnam who say they seen some sappers shot 20 to 30 times before going down.
