  • Take off all the interior screws, including the ones in the side of the door, located under the black plugs. The plugs just pry out, and pop back in. The screws are T-25 torx heads. Just pull back the interior panel, at the top to reach the four nuts holding the handle. These are 3/8" nuts. There is a return spring near the handle, make sure you do not lose it. Under the clear plastic, just cut a hole in it, near the black mechanism for the door release. You may have to undo the window track to get enough room in there to manuever the wrench. Be careful when loosening bolts, and screws in the inside interior panel. It has nuts mounted in the plastic, and have been known to break away while loosening. I had to run bolts thru the panel to hold the mechanism on, but doesn't look very neat, but works effeciently. They should have been a little smarter creating those handles. I am taking my old one, and mounting a metal rod in place of the plastic pivot points. Have fun.
