  • Utah's climate dries out my nasal passages way bad. I always get sinus infections! And this doctor told me the other day that there are some nose sprays you can buy that just keep them from drying out which causes most sinus infections. Yeah. But thats just something he told me. I haven't tried it. But it makes sense.
  • Doing sinus irrigation is a non-drug way of helping your sinuses. I use the neti-pot type system at sinucleanse.com
  • I see someone has already sent my answer in about trying a neti-pot. I recenty bought my son one for $15.00 at Wal-Mart and he says it seems to be doing something.
  • A lot of people I know swear by the Nettie Pot. It's usually inexpensive unless you get a fancy one. It's like a little tea pot that is designed for your nose that you fill with warm salt water. You use it about 3 times a week and I have heard some amazing results from close friends and family. One friend in particular suffered so badly with sinus congestion and pain that in the 12 years that I have known him, he had never been able to breathe through his nose and now he can! He says it's been so long that he had to teach himself to use his nose again.
