  • I think so. But technology has redefined the word "hobby" for them. When older generations talk about "hobby," they refer to crafts, coin collecting and the like. Now, kids are more into computer-related activities.

  • I think most of them do, but their hobbies have changed. Instead of collecting stamps or making crafts or whatever previous generations did, many kids today have turned to computers and video games as their "hobby". So, yes, kids still have hobbies -- only the definition of "hobby" has changed.
  • well both mine have played rugby as a hobby since 8 yo i think its important for kids to do something with spare time and not sit at home all the time. for the eldest it is really paying off as he has been picked to represent our county a few times and now will be putting an england shirt for the first time. how proud am i or what.
  • My daughters hobbie seems to be Nitendo DS and collecting trading cards. She and her frinds get into very deep conversations about these things. It gives her alot of pleasure. She seems challenged by it. It sounds like traits of a hobbie to me
  • There are a lot of outdoor enthusiasts here especially kids with scateboards. ATV driving is popular up north. Poker playing and video games are at the top.
