  • first of all this answers the second question.You can use a door and close it fast but not all the way , and the air will cool you.
  • If you have a fan, have it blow over a bowl with water and ice cubes in it. If you can't get a breeze going, keep a bowl of water and a cloth nearby to dampen yourself with.
  • In the summer I keep several of the gelatin filled "Blue Ice" bags in the fridge, not the freezer. They will retain the cooler temp for long periods and if only refrigerated and not frozen, will mold around the back of your neck and not hurt you like a frozen thing would. They are especaily nice for sleeping during hot weather. You can place them under the backs of your knees, or any place that will cool your bodys core temp a bit.
