  • No if anything the opposite since the raw product is a dairy product.
  • For people prone to constipation, limiting foods that have little or no fiber, such as ice cream, cheese, meat, and processed foods, is important. The proper diet would include these high fiber foods: beans, whole grains and bran cereals, fresh fruits, and vegetables such as asparagus, brussels sprouts, cabbage, and carrots.
  • If you only eat protein (such as cheese) and no fibre (wholegrain, fruit, vegetables), you will clog up your system. It is not that the cheese is harmful. It is just that you need fibre to make food move successfully through your alimentary canal.
  • Yes, it certainly can. It sticks to your insides just like it sticks to your hands when it's warm and molten.
  • I thought eating to much cheese causes nightmares, so nightmares and constipation...scary lol.
  • I have never heard of it but yes it is possible.
  • I have heard yes from my girlfriend, but after a pound of pepper jack I had no problems.
  • Thats what I've heard. My pediatrician told me once when my son was ill with diareah to give him the "Brat" diet.. B= Bananas R= Rice A= Applesauce T= Toast Um, that has nothing to do with the cheese question, but I have also heard that it'll tighten up your bowel.... =o)
  • It can if you eat a lot. Like pounds!
  • i dont think so not as long as you are drinking lots of water and keeping your diet healthy. =]
  • I suppose too much of anything could be harmfull.
  • eating too much of anything could cause constipation...especially cheese. it is a binder. lots of water is the best solution. lots of water. or carrot juice...about eight ounces max. water is best.
  • yes it doesn. i ate chees and bread last nite and had d same for bfast (i know its gross) but ds afternoon i had a sharp pain on d left side of my tummy and diahrroea it wasnt a nice feeling :(
  • For some people that have a sensitive digestive system, this can be the case. Cheese can bind you up, but if you always make sure to eat plenty of fiber, this usually counteracts it. For me, I have to eat an apple or fruit smoothie with fiber substitute anytime I eat cheese, or I will be constipated for days.
  • It may be so. Eating too much of anything is not to be encouraged. The rule of thumb should be moderation and balance in our meals.
  • It sure does!! I'm sufering from it right now, and it's been 3 days...I'm in so much pain!!!
