  • yes they called me names but atleast i can see. but i did stop wearing them for alittle bit but when i got a little order i knew i have to wear them . dont listen to those mean people
  • Yes I had to wear glasses as a child and still do as an adult. I was called every name in the book, I would hide my glasses so I won't have to wear them when I was a kid. Now I have to wear them all the time or I can't see nothing but blurry images 6 inches past my nose.
  • I did not get called names because I did not wear my glasses when I was a kid. And I did not wear them largely because I had seen other kids teased and I did not want the same thing to happen to me.
  • I got my first pair of glasses when I was 12 and no one made fun of me.
  • Been wearing glasses a long time, no they didn't tease because most of the kids had them.
  • No one teased me. I was thrilled to have them because I could finally see!!!
  • Yes, children can be cruel. But it didn't last long because I beat the crap out of anyone who made fun of me.
  • Yes they did once. It did not put me off from wearing them, I cannot see at all without them. I am of an age, where I was the only person with glasses in my class until about 5th grade. Apparently, my personality won out. Also, about the time that my classmates were getting "reading glasses", I got contacts. I didn't put up with much crap about my glasses, it just embarrassed me one time when I got them broke in basketball. I tried as well as I could to function "normally" afterwards. I was just shaken because I couldn't see.
