  • No but a tiger or lion might.
  • I'm glad you brought this question to AB, because a liger is pretty much my favorite animal. In summation, a liger will have a measure of magical ability proportional to that of its parents. Likewise, its size and weight will be proportionally relative to its parents. Reference: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0374900/quotes
  • A liger (Tiger male mated with lion female) is usually larger than its lion mother and it's tiger father. A liger is possibly the worlds largest cat, at up to 12 feet tall and 1,000 lbs. A tigon (Lion male mated with tiger female)is extremely rare, because the mating is much more difficult. If the lion father is too big, the cubs will often be stillborn, as the tiger mother's womb is too small for large cubs. Tigons are usually smaller than both of its parents. They have shorter life spans than the ligers, and are more prone to cancer and many other illnesses than other large cats.
  • Something called Hybrid vigor happens when you breed the two together and they are much much larger than ordinary loins and tigers.
  • i used to volunteer for a wildlife sanctuart in california that had a liger, named leo. i was the only one not afraid to play with him. he loved swimming. most hybrid crosses genetically forget to stop growing . a lion weighs about 300 lbs. a tiger weighs about 400 lbs and a liger etc weigh about 900 lbs. they usually are sterile but not always. they tend to be a lot more docile than their respective parents. leo was like a horse. i could ride him, run from him, etc quite fun..i think the directors were a little nervous though, ha. and he was LOUD
  • Usually bigger and heavier then the both of them put together when fully grown
