Proverbs, as the previous answerers have stated is exactly what you want because the purpose of the book is to relay how to be wise. But beyond that as well, the Bible all over indicates that wisdom comes from God who is wisdom himself and his word is wisdom. 2 Timothy 3:15, "and from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation in Christ Jesus." 1 Corinthians 1 and 2 also treat wisdom and what true wisdom is. It is not the wisdom of the world but the wisdom of God. The cross which is foolishness to humans is the wisdom of God and we as believers recognize that. I hope this helps. Lord's Blessings.

Again, Proverbs. written by Soloman. God asked Soloman what he wanted . He asked for WISDOM to lead Israel. This pleased GOD so HE gave Solomon wisdom and riches.

A wise man or a wise woman is one who lives according to God's principles. Wisdom comes from God and can be found in the teachings of the Bible. Proverbs 1:7 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction."
