  • No,your not alone, and im sorry I didnt mean to
  • Oh no...who would like that???? I believe it comes from a basic insecurity on the part of the interruptor...they want the attention and cannot or will not keep their mouth shut while someone else has the floor. I work with someone like this. she is a good hearted woman...however, when I am telling her or anyone else something she constantly interrupts. When she has done this I have said "I'm not finished". I think I will try a new tactic..next time I will say " Yo are interrupting me"...We'kk see what she does then.
  • i hate it too but I must admit I have had my share of interruptions.
  • You can always ignore them, until they get their turn to speak. :D
  • I guess you also hate the TV news people who constantly talk over one another! I agree with you but TV is the pits!
  • Yes. Be more aware of the people around you. If someone is waiting to talk to you then ask them before they ask you.
  • I have had to butt in when someone is talking because they do not shut up long enough for me to say something or answer to what they are saying. That street goes both ways. I have listened to female friends that talk for over 15 minutes non stop. People need to shut up sometime and allow others to talk also.
  • To raise the volume of one's voice to talk over someone else is annoying. In normal conversation, however, people interrupt one another all the time. Timing an interruption is important not to be rude but the absence of any interruptions is a lecture and not a conversation. I find that people who get annoyed for being interrupted are frequently either ego freaks or venting anger about something that might be completely unrelated.
