  • It could be she has an eye infection, or an allergy. I know a woman who had symptoms like this and her doc asked her if she used hairspray.. she did, so he told her to stop.. the redness and watering in her eyes went away!!! so it could be something like that.. has she had her eyes tested at an optician lately? maybe she should.
  • She may also have dry eye. I don't know how old your mom is, but this condition is quite common, especially in middle age.
  • Unfortunately the amount of information given is not even close to enough to give a decent informed opinion. MMost common factors of bloodshot eyes that I have come across though are these: Eye strain allergies stress fatigue marijuana
  • Perhaps the lenses in her glasses aren't correct for her eyesight. Maybe that's why her eyes get bloodshot, (because her eyes are straining), and she gets headaches, also because of eye-strain.
  • The bloodshot could indicate she has an eye infection while her headaches could be because her eyes are feeling tired of fighting the infection on their own.
  • your mom probably just smokes a lot of weed
  • it could be conjuctivitis (pink eye) or allergies, I get blood shot eyes w/my allergies very often, especially if I use different soaps in the shower.
  • Your mum probably has an infection or somthing or she needs new glasses and her eyes are strained so badly they have gone red with the pain and the presure of trying to see
