  • It is most certainly about spending! All we see..starting immediatley after thanksgiving(sometimes even earlier)is that we have to BUY things...gifts, trees, food, gaudy decorations etc. I dont "buy" into any of that crap. I dont spend any money to celebrate christmas.
  • Commercial organisations are trying to make it so. It's up to us to stand up for what we believe - whatever that may be.
  • Yup and I don't buy into it, I celebrate christmas strictly for spending time with family and friends and celebrating the birth of christ; I come as I am, ecspecially this year since I have no money.
  • I DEFENITILY THINK CHRISTMAS IS OVER COMMERCIALIZED. YES THE WISE MEN DID BRING GIFTS BUT THEY WERE NOT AT THE MARKET ALL DAY LOOKING FOR THEM. PEOPLE NOWADAYS ARE SO MATIERAL
  • Yes, its far too much about buying gifts rather than spending time with family and friends. Though it can be fun, some of it can be a waste of valuble money.
