  • Random Access Memory could be located anywhere in a computer but on standard PCs these days there is usually 1 to 4 chips / sticks of RAM on the motherboard. They are roughly 8 inchs long and have rows of integrated chips on one or both sides. It may be common these days to see a heatsink on them which may make it harder for you to identify the RAM.
