  • are you not getting enough sleep because you are worrying about something? im just asking because worry can do all sorts of things to people and one of the things can be an upset stomache.
  • I don't know, mine does that too. I have a sensitive stomach in general. I find a little bit of toast, if I can choke it down, is good for that.
  • My stomach also hurts if I get less than 7 hours sleep. I would really appreciate a scientific answer to your question. Mine is not from worry either... I have always been like this, not enough sleep= sick stomach!
  • I know what you mean. I wake up feeling the same way. And it isn't that I'm constantly worried. I have a sleep disorder. My morning stomach problems make it hard for me to begin a day. I wish someone had something useful to say. I'm tired of waking up, this way.
  • I wish i knew. The same thing happens to me and has been happening my whole life. I know i do have a bit of anxiety and have always thought that causes it but if i sleep enough then im fine.. who knows.. im glad to know im not the only one this happens to though
  • One recommendation is not to eat anything 2 hours before going to sleep
  • It sounds like you have a junk food hangover. This is caused by eating too much fat, sugar and salt before you go to sleep.
  • maybe you ate something the night before that made your stomach upset
