  • You didn't argue , fight or disrespect your parents in my days - So never
  • Politics. Though I would call it arguing (in the true meaning of the word) not fighting.

  • getting engaged at 15
  • my grades!!
  • As a kid, I don't think I had huge arguments with either of them other than did I clean my room. As an adult, it wasn't a fight. It was my father blasting away at me and my spouse for everything he hated about how we had chosen to live our life. That was the last time we spoke.
  • What I wore or didn't wear:)
  • hmm... the biggest fight i've had with my parents was when i was 14 and over the fact that i got a lip piercing and a tattoo and i was doing drugs at the time...
  • My sexuality, which is vaguely bi because i have technically dated women before. But the fight was over my bf who i had just got off a date with.

  • When I used to smoke weed
  • she read my diary when i was in 5th grade. She read it and she got mad at me because I started liking "boys". Im the youngest of my sisters and she hadn't heard of my sisters' talking about boys yet. So she screamed at me for that. I was so confused. I totally got depressed that year, i was like 10 yrs old. ='(
  • When my mom suspected I was a lesbian. She FREAKED OUT! So, of course I denied that it was true because I was too scared. Now I kinda wish I would have just told her while we were already on the subject...
  • Edit: Void (opps my computers messed and i posted my answer three times) srry!
  • When I was 16 I drove home from a party drunk. I think that fight lasted 6 months.
  • One did not fight with my father. He was prone to use his fists on those of us who disagreed with him.
  • Not hitting me.
  • Disowning my father.
  • Telling my mom i hated her i still do.
  • My parents and I never had any "fights". We had a few minor differences of opinion but even those were minor. Then again I left home when I was 14 going to a private school. I never spent more than a year at home after that. I went into the Navy then to university and married. the last full year I spent at home was summer and winter of 55-56.
  • Biggest fights I had were when I stood up for my older brother as my dad beat him. I'd put myself right between them and face my dad head so my bro could escape to the bathroom because that was the only door that had a working lock on it. I did this for years...since I was 8 probably to early teens. Even though my bro's older, he's not too smart and had a lower self-esteem than I did back then. I know that it's usually the brothers that protect the sisters, but I always felt it was my job and duty to make them safe from him. I stopped when my dad finally stopped and my mother FINALLY witnessed something. If he ever lays a hand on my bros again, I'll be right there in between them again ready to protect. Oh and another one would be confessing my bisexuality when I was 14 and he laughed it off at me. Telling me it was a phase I would go through...well to this day, ... it's no "phase".
  • My Stepmother and religion / not wanting to go to church.
  • How they coddle my sister. She's a major problem in the family and they seem to be harvesting that behavior but they don't realize it! BTW, I just found out a few nights ago that mom bought a 2nd house so that my sister would have a place to live and not have to worry about being evicted anymore. lol... see what I mean. She's 34 years old and still being taken care of. But the real problem is that mom will call and bitch about her to no end. So that's what the fighting is about. Don't bitch if you are going to let her take advantage of you!
  • They tried to screw me on buying their old house in 2000. Wanted $30,000 more than the neighboring houses went for and those houses were updated, my parent's house still had original carpet and wallpaper from the sixties. They told me "as is" firm, I said put it on the market. They had to update for a "real" buyer.
