  • Not very dangerous if you are a native and familiar with the area or know people who are. If not, it is not reccomended that you go anywhere tourists do not usually go.
  • This and other reviews of Lagos. “Lagos is a fun place to visit. But shocking to anyone going with a mind set of whatever they have seen about Africa on the discovery channel. Lagos is the business nerve of Nigeria with frequent power outages - You get use to that after a while and there is always the generator. Lagos though close in resemblance to New York city is not as "tidy". Yes, it is filthy. But look at the positive aspects. The people are very hospitable, great food, restaurants Most of all there are many churches and an awesome presence of God in their assemblies. If you are a Christian and have never seen people worship God in all abandonment, love and adoration despite all their troubles and trials and in a country where there is so much poverty and unemployment, visit Lagos and you will see the awesome move of God.” http://travel.yahoo.com/p-reviews-487434-prod-travelguide-action-read-ratings_and_reviews-i
  • Lagos is a very nice city.People are welcoming and accomodating. Compare to what I have seen in this part of the world where I live. Lagos doesn't haveany crime rate compare to what I have seen here. The highest of crime is homicide or murder and Lagos resident don't have time for that. They are busy making money and trying to make ends meet.Nigeria is one of the largest oil producing country in Africa. Gun are not as circulated as the westernworld. People don't have to have a gun to protect themselves. Most people are busy of trying to make their dream comes true but not high crime rate as many people has been brainwashed. I love my Lagos. Moruph. Charlotte,NC.
