Yep, written, parking and driving.
-
Yes I am a member of the PFT club!
-
No, I failed my first in September. I have my second in December
-
Yes, the instructor told my mom he had never felt safer with a teenage driver. Made her so happy. The next week I totaled the 1st of severeal cars. I am the driving joke of the family. So far to date, I have wrecked all my parents vehicles excpet my mom's jag and my dad's new Lexus. My brother and sister quit letting drive their cars when we were in college.
-
NO. It sucked. I passed TWO ambulances going in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION so I didn't know I had to pull over, but because there was not an island separating the two sides of the road I was supposed to and she had to fail me. She was kind enough to inform me that if I'd only pulled over I only would have had two errors. Thanks, THAT makes it better...haha. When I went back to take it a month later, the same lady was going to test me, but recognized me and got someone else, haha. I passed with flying colors that time, by the way ;)
-
Yes. and I was shocked at how easy it was. And that frightened me, that the only qualification all the other people on the road had was that stupid easy test.
-
Yes, but only by 1 point!
-
Thank's god i did.
-
Yes, but I didn't take the test until I was 22! So I had ALOT of time to practice before taking the test. My liscence was suspended before I ever had it! HA! I drove without a liscence when I was 15 and got caught so my driving privledges were suspended unti I was 18...then I turned 18 and joined the Army. I got a military liscence and drove a HMMWV for 3 years while stationed overseas in Korea. Then the 1st thing I did when I got back to the states I took the drivers test and passed with no problems.
-
No, the officer who tested me ws so frightened by my inability to back into a parking space that she grabbed the dashboard of the car. I had a different officer the next time, and passed with no problems.
-
i only had to do the written...passed on the third
-
I passed the written and failed the road the first time and passed the second time.
-
Passed both the first time with a 90%.
-
Yes, but my mother didn't. We live in the United States. When my mother took her first test. She did the whole thing...no problem. My mother drove back to the DMV parked the car. All the instructor say to her was... "In this country we drive on the right side of the road!" She was so nervous she drive on the wrong side the whole time and the guy never corrected her!
-
Yeah, with my test anxiety stuff too. Now my brother, the perfect tester, failed his.
-
No, I failed.
-
i am 20 years old and have yet to try the driving test so i wont know until i take it ill let you know...if i ever do lol
-
Failed, and my second, third ...forth... Hmmm I can take a hint, TAXI :-)
-
Barely.....damn paralle parking.
-
yes passed both the first time.
-
oh yeah. My instructor was a d*ck but I passed. whew!
-
Nope. I had to take it a 2nd time.
-
Sure did! Of course, I didn't have to parallel park, or drive a stick. So I think I got off easy.
-
Yes. It was the easiest thing I have ever done in my life.
-
I was told my driving was 'good' but my knowledge of the highway code was 'miserable, pathetic and awful'. 'You've passed - just' was what the examiner finished with. Nice man.
-
No, I know this sounds like an excuse, but I had such a bad instructor, he was so mean, he was going to fail me no matter how good I did. When I went the second time with a different guy, he was like "Your a really good driver!" and passed me no troubles at all.
-
Yes I did.
-
Just barely as I had practiced on an automatic and used a stick shift to do the test lol!!!
-
Nope. They had me "back around the corner" in the parking lot. The corner was supposed to be represented by cones, but it was windy and they had brought the cones in. The instructor then told me if the cones had been there I would have knocked them over!! Huh?!?! I think she was just mad because she had to use ALL the slack in the seatbelt in order to put in on.
-
I don't know how, but I pulled it off!
-
yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes i was so happy coz no one believed i'll pass the test...i took the driving course coz my mom dared me..ahhh, worth it now
-
Yes, I did. But I was so nervous that when the lady and I first walked out to my car and she said "Turn on your right turn signal"...I turned on the left one instead. LOL! She yelled at me. "THE RIGHT ONE!" I'm so lucky I passed because after that I was a nervous wreck, lol.
-
Yes, I did. It was on Valentine's Day... I always wondered if that impacted the instructor's decision.
-
Yes, both of them. Car and bike. OK I'm smug, so hate me :-)
-
yes I passed the parking and the driving tests from the first time :)
-
yep
-
No - I came very close to a head-on collision at a 4-way stop....and that's an automatic flunk.
-
Yep! Had a perfect score:)
-
yep
-
i drive a manual car and to get my license i had to fail my driving test 3 times although i used to drive since i was 15..
-
yes. it took five minites or less. i got a nine. how much is it out of?
-
Yeah. They only took points off (or is it put points on?) for not signaling before turning in to the parking stall. To this day, I've never seen anyone do that.
-
My school was kinda lax. There was no official road test. They just evaluated as you went. They worked with you until you got it right, which was better than a test in my opinion. I am a good driver, so I guess it worked. :)
-
No my emergency brake was stuck so when I tried to paralle park I hit the cones. I asked my tester if that ment that I didn't pass. She looked at me funny and said yeah.
-
Yep,don't know how I did it, I parked that one time right and never been able to do it again.
-
Yes. And on the parallel park I ran over a garbage can lid that was laying in the gutter yo...
-
I actually did. I was actually 18 when I got my lincense, but I had been driving since I was 13. I was scared to death being alot of people had told me the actual driving test was hard. I passed it, with no points off, I had done everything correctly + the instructor told me I was the best teenaged driver he had ever rode with not having no points knocked off.
-
Yup!
-
Sure did with an almost perfect score.
-
Yep... 37 years ago through Driver's Ed, and a couple of years ago using hand-controls.
-
yea, but I didn't get 100% because I slowed down too much at some train tracks... They said because I almost stopped at the tracks I got marked down. I had only quickly skimmed through the manual before taking the test and was having trouble remembering whether to slow only or stop because I looked at the stupid commercial manual too which says to stop for buses and such...
-
Yeah, and there wasn't any parallel parking which I was grateful for.
-
yes, but just barely
-
i actually never took one yet and i am already 20 years old ha
-
yes
-
No. Red light
-
Sure did! They even told me I was being TOO cautious...I just didn't want to get a bad grade was all, haha.
-
I got 52 out of 53
-
yes, my brothers told me that i would fail, i think because they had to take the test two or three times. because i didn't want them to be right i stuided a lot and i passed it, the only thing that was pointed against me was that i forgot to put my seatbelt on. the cop had to tell me to do it. besides that i missed nothing.
-
First time, 6 weeks after i was allowed to drive legally :L
-
nope. because i didnt take the time to study thoroughly. i had to retake test, a teacher helped me, then i passed with flying colors.
-
no, I went through a fence and I had to take it again.
-
yes it was at lego land i would still have the licence but the police toke it off me saying it was fake
-
i did but i got like way too close
-
no but 3rd times a charm. lol
-
Yes all 4. Car, Bus, Motorcycle, Tractor Trailer. My license costs a small fortune to renew.
-
Yup. Got 94% on the written exam, and 97% on the driving test.
-
i never took the test , i was nerves after driving for 25 years + i took the test pass by only one question because i press the wrong key, now i pay insurance like I'm a teenager ,it sucks bad . Mao Boston mass.
-
Yes but i could not parall park but they passed me anyway.
-
Yep but I forgot to put it in Park and when I tried to take the key out it wouldn't. The guy was like I am not suppose to intervene. I was like nooooo, but then he was like it is ok I will pass you.
-
yes first time 1968
-
No I Failed my Motorcycle driving test because I did not put my feet on the Ground at a Stop sign....I Did however stop!
-
Absolutely by the skin of my teeth!!!
-
YES.I DID. I PASSED BOTH MY CAR & MY BIKE TEST FIRST TIME. THEY WAS VERY EASY....
-
Yes I did and I had just turned 14 at the time. That was 56 years ago....Because my father was a farmer I needed my licence to take the crop from the field to the center driving on public roads and highways. In this case it was cotton and I had to pull 5000 pound trailers full of cotton from the field to the gin 23 miles away. Then return the trailers to the field for the picking crews to fill again. Cotton was picked by hand then...not by machine as today. I also learned how to change flat tires quickly as well because I would have to change maybe 5 tires each week on the very hot South Texas Farm to Market roads.
-
Yes, passed first time. Only dropped 2 points
-
Yes. I was surprised at how easy it was; This answered my long-standing question as to why South Florida has such heinous drivers.
-
Yes, barely.
-
i did not get my learners the first time i went for them. but got 100% on my driving test =] woo hoo go me! did you?
-
yep ...in one door and out the other with no problems at all
-
Yes, I studied the questions very well and the driving was the easiest part.
-
Yes for the driving part for motorbike, car and lorries. I think I had to repeat the theory once for lorries...
-
Yep. Aced the written and only got dinged for not adjusting the mirrors when I first got into the car for the driving portion. (Apparently the fact that I drove the car there and already had them adjusted wasn't a good excuse.)
-
yes .it was very stressful.......but somehow i passed.
-
Yes, all of them: learner's permit, auto, motorcycle and Class A (CDL).
-
Yup, all 4 of them. Auto, Tractor Trailer, Motorcycle, And School Bus.
-
Yes both normal and HGV I passed the first time, I also took my "advanced motoring exam" and passed first time. driving along and giving a cometary can help you to think ahead when driving.
-
No, Had to take it a second time.
-
Yep and with an almost perfect score.
-
yes i did,
-
yes
-
No, 2nd time, I had a clean sheet, no mistakes what so ever......until I jumped a red light.....derrr, fail!!!
-
Yes I did. I took one of those driving classes for a week and drove to the registrar and took the test. Because of my epilepsy I did not get a chance to drive until age 27. I was ready.
-
Yes ... road test was perfect, but I got one wrong on the written test ... ... You arrive at a 4 way stop at the same time as a large truck on your left, a motorcycle on your right, and a woman pushing a baby carriage. Who has the right of way? A. You. B. The truck. C. The motorcycle. D. The pedestrian wanting to cross the street. E. A low flying aircraft. ... I erroneously picked "D" instead of "E" ...
-
Yes, but it was a long time ago, and the whole system has changed now with the tests being much more difficult, or rather, they test your capabilities more and it takes a lot longer to get your full license. Way back then, after getting the written&oral, all I had to do was drive around a suburb, through maybe 2 sets of traffic lights and do a hill-start! And wow what a hill LoL!
