  • Correct punctuation makes the meaning perfectly clear to the reader. It does not allow ambiguity.
  • They assist in the logical order of grammar and without them, such as that comma, and this one, and this one that there is no sense of flow or order and all sentences become mere chaos and total disorder.

  • Punctuation separates thoughts and makes reading much easier. It flows better with punctuation.
  • So you can express exactly what you feel.

  • I would say to understand the tone of the writer, but also clarify the end of sentences, and such. I use them frequently, but never really understood what they meant. I suppose that would be the fault of our beloved educational system. I kid, its the lack of focus on my part, leaving me ignorant on the intention of such puncuations.

  • It relays the meaning of what the author wants to say in a more understandable manner. Lack of punctuation and badly punctuated writing can set of a different tone, giving a totally different meaning altogether from what the author wanted to say.
  • Because it's better than saying "Emphasize that" at the end of a sentence. In fact, maybe thats how one should order their meal at McDonalds.
  • To make sure you put the emphASIS on the right syllABLES. I don't worry about it too much.
