I love my boyfriend with my whole heart, but he makes me cry now and then - maybe once every 2 months. He makes me cry because he points out the things I have to change about myself to be a better person. He is honest and direct, i love it even though it may sound harsh. We've been together for almost 3 years now, and I've become a much stronger, confident, honest, and friendly person. He made me a better person!

Love is not something you can turn on and off at a moments notice according to someone's mood or behavior. It's an ingrained feeling that takes a whole lot of time and effort to overcome and get past, if there is a need to do that. Some love is for all times..not just sometimes.

I think it's the other way round; the ones we love are the ones that we are vulnerable to, so their words or actions can affect us more.

When you love someone you share a piece of your heart with them, there's no other way to do it. The knock on effect of this is that they can take your heart and stomp all over it if they so choose. But in order to love you have to open to someone, otherwise you can't fully love or be loved in my opinion. So why do I love someone who makes me sad at times? Because the only other alternative is not to love at all and keep a guard around myself. I don't think that's really possible or healthy.

Why should I love someone who lies to me with the soul purpose of making me feel good? At least the person I get sad about at times probably knows how to tell me what I need to hear, instead of only what I want to hear. I think that is what a true friend is. Not someone who constantly flatters me, even when I'm the one who is in the wrong.

All relationships have their good and bad times. The people we love the most can hurt us the most. Don't let it get you down. Go do something nice for yourself today, or even better, do something for someone else. My mom always says that when your down, go do something for someone less fortunate and it will really lift your spirits. However, if he is making you sad more than he is making you happy you might want to reconsider your relationship. Make a list of good and bad and see what you come up with.

i dont know why at all, but i'm head over heels for a guy... for the second time... i wake up and cry, and when i think of him i can't breathe and my heart feels like someone's squeezing it tighter... i feel incredibly depressed and happy at once.

how much are you sad.. if it is sometimes then that is normal you cant make everyone happy all the time, if its a lot, i think we love the people that are worst for us, thats what i do anyways there are these guys that would be great for me but i cant seem them that way and everyone i dates just beats me up maybe its a girl thing?
