  • Yes. The morning after pill is not 100% effective although it has a low failure rate. Pregnancy is prevented in 70 to 90 % of cases when emergency contraception is used within 72 hours after intercourse. Effectiveness is higher when emergency contraception is used sooner rather than later
  • Although not 100% effective, you're probably pretty safe. At this point you're just going to have to wait it out. Nothing more you can do until you know for sure.
