  • Yes I have been that much in love. I've been so much in love that the birds sang sweeter, the sky was bluer, and even waiting in line at the grocery store was a pleasure because it gave me time to think about my lover.
  • Ah, a visit from the lyrical Jodie that we all know and love. Sing yes, and then I cry at the overwhelming beauty of it all.
  • Yeah I have been in love like that. I'm in love like that right now. It's the best feeling in the world.
  • Once upon a time...
  • I don't know if it was love. But back in high school, each time I saw my crush, I felt like I was floating in the air. I've never felt anything like that again.
  • My husband still makes my heart sing and dance and jump for joy, and......
  • It hurts think about what used to be.
  • I have and it's a really happy tune:)
  • I was once upon a time ... but I let it slip away.
  • Oh yes. It is the most wonderful feeling in the world.
  • Yes, and smile so hard that a guy on the bus commented.
  • Oh, yeh. Many times. Also heard and felt it go CRACK! many times. I finally found a real, genuine "heart healer". We have been together for....some time now.
  • YES!!!!! And 'our song' is literally 'Our Love Is Here To Stay,' by Gershwin. Amen. AND ... not only 'YES' ... but we have the undeniable fortune to know, accept and practice, that even being 'allowed' to love someone else is nothing short of a pure privilege, let alone having that love equally returned' Even though this November, we celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, we believe and act -- every day, in every way -- we are STILL on our honeymoon! No kidding. I am sooooooo in love with my guy-husband-lover-best friend, that I still get butterflies when he enters the room. I know that he is sooooooooo in love with me, his gal-wife-lover-best friend because he, even being an old guy, STILL gets that bump in his pants whenever he sees me! Not only that, but for 25 years he has made me coffee, each and every morning, jokingly commenting 'It's my job!' But MORE ... for 25 years he has written a love note on a post-it and attaches it to that morning's cup of my brew! He has NEVER repeated himself. By the way: HE doesn't know that I have saved every single one of those post-it love notes. AND, for his surprise gift for our 25th, I am creating an album of not only these, but all the romantic cards we have given each other over the years. (Hee-Hee!!! I found HIS stash: could hardly believe he saved the ones from me! MEOW!) IF I could give this privilege ... this profound gift of love ... to all the couples in the world we would so delightfully do so. Ahhhhh: wish that I may, eh?
  • Yes! Sometimes the love I feel for Jesus just boils over and I have to grab my guitar and SING! One of these days I'll learn to sing and the neighbors will stop running away from me... (just kidding)
  • Yes and butterflies in the stomach and the heavy hard to breath feeling just thinking about them.
  • Yes, I have. There is nothing in this world more stimulating than the feeling of 'new love'. That short and precious time when you can't keep your hands off each other and your lips feel nearly bruised from all the kissing should always be treasured. My heart has nearly sung from the joy of it and my feet have seemed to skim over the ground. The goofy grin that won't leave your face and the benevolence that is shown in the face of the most extreme adversity is a fleeting thing. :) The only thing that is better is true and lasting love, if you are fortunate enough to find it. The heart still sings, but it also nearly aches, sometimes, with the fierceness and sheer power of emotion that can sometimes flood you when you gaze upon the object of that love.
  • Not really, but it made my heart want to cry...
  • No, I'm too slow emotionally for that. But I do enjoy the feeling of knowing there is someone who will always be there and will love first and judge second. It's good to be the King.
  • Don't know if I ever reached that level of euphoria, but I have been so head over heals that I went days without eating once.
  • Absolutely!
  • My heart didn't sing but ~ it took my breath away and I thought I'd die from the feeling.
