My Dad was a DJ, so I grew up with the radio on. The first song I remember learning the lyrics to (other than children's songs) was "Happy Together" by the Turtles. Yes, I really am that old, although I was only about 5 or so when I learned this song.

I think the one that I sat down and studied was 'We didn't start the fire' by Billy Joel when I was 10 or so - what a tongue twister, I think I finally got it after a week or two :) Now you can learn too.....SingAlong!!

On My Own-Les Miserables My older sister loved the book and forced me and my other sister Jessie to sing the songs for her all the time.

I don't remember my toddler times but I'd guess it was the "ABC" song. As an adult I remember learning "The Devil Went Down To Georgia." And I can still sing it word for word with or without music.
