  • You don't resign. You signed a contract that would be very difficult to get out of. You could try talking to a lawyer, but I doubt it would help. Pretty much the only way to get out is to do something that will get you discharged (most likely dishonorably).
  • U.S.M.C. - U Signed the Motherf*ckin Contract - That means there is no out. Not unless they want to get rid of you. You stood there, raised your right hand and took an oath. And they'll hold you to it.

      Once had kid in my unit submit a letter of resignation to the company commander. Refused to train. He was court-martialed and after some brig time was given a dishonorable discharge.
