  • Even though I don't believe in god, if there were a god, I would say it still wouldn't be 'his' fault by the way things are. Man creates his own folly by his thoughts.

  • He gives us powers of reason, sticks massive amounts of evidence around and then expects us to ignore both of these. If not sick he sure does like them mind games...
  • 1-19-2017 God certainly has a sense of humor, at least according to goofy human judgment, but His ways are higher than our ways. A human judging God is like a Ford judging Henry. For one example of God running circles around human understanding, take a look at Ephesians chapters 1 and 2. All students agree that there are several parentheses there, but nobody knows enough to figure out exactly where they begin and end. We are talking Greek parentheses here, corresponding to the English punctuation marks if somebody knew where to put them. The Greeks defined such things precisely, but still you can't get two people to mark them the same way. That's why the King James interpreters left them out entirely. If you can sort those two chapters out, then people will listen to your appraisal of something else in the bible.

Ephesians chapter one makes it very clear that Jesus and Jehovah God are two distinct personalities e/g/ God raised him up...Jesus did not do it to himself. This denies equality so cancels the trinity idea...which cancels the Catholic church...You cannot have a religion claiming truth if only ONE teaching is not correct..Also...it says...God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ...again a separation.

  • Personally, I think He has a great sense of humor. It is probably that what He hides from us the most is His mirth. It's helpful to think of God as at least as good as the best person you know---and having a great sense of humor is a great attribute.
