D-FW to Honolulu. I absolutely HATE flying! It took 6 months of constant begging from my wife and in-laws back in 1985, and I still almost backed out. I had no problem with them going, just not me. This is how dumb I was. I thought clouds were like puffs of smoke! I never thought that something that had to hold tons and tons of water (rain), couldn't possibly be like smoke. To this day, my daughter (who was 2 at the time), says "Daddy doesn't like orange planes", because the DC-9 we flew on between islands hit a whole 20 minutes of turbulence. When it got bumpy, she noticed that I jumped.

Two different flights for me--both this year. NONSTOP: Seoul, South Korea to Atlanta, Georgia in 15.5 hours on Korean Airlines (thank you business class) MULTI-STOPS: Tampa, Florida to Dallas,Texas; then onto Los Angeles, California; then onto Auckland, New Zealand; then onto Melbourne, Victoria Australia; then onto Perth, Western Australia in 32 hours total. Coming back though from Sydney, I almost arrived home before I left (time wise).

Manchester UK to Hong Kong on to Sydney Australia, swap to a light aircraft another 1200 miles south, swap for a seaking helecopter 540 miles to a spot in the sea between Tasmania and Oz, land on a stranded ship, fix the problem in 45 mins. eat a meal, fly back to Tasmania then 3 days later back to UK via Sydney, Hong Kong 27,000 miles, 7 days and a nice rest before driving Manchester to Prague (Cz republic)through France, Belgium,Germany (1200 miles) Prague to Porto (Portugal) Back to Manchester via Bilbao (Spain) 6 days 4500 miles. slept for 6 days..................
