I think of him the same as a woman who hits a man. He is a loser with low self esteem. He is not a man and is nothing in my eyes but a big wussy who has major mental issues.

I think they are pathetic losers with serious mental deficiencies. There is absolutely no reason at all that a man should ever have to put a hand on a womnan. I don't care if she cursed at you spit on you tyou walked in on the middle of her doing the deed with your best friend etc. There is absolutely nothing a woman could possibly do to a man that is worthy of being beaten by a man. And yes this came from the mouth of a man.

Firstly, I would not put him into the same category as a man. Secondly, a male who beats up women is nothing but a coward who would probably be scared to death if he were confronted by a real man. Women beaters are just immature little boys who know they have very little worth and takes it out upon someone weaker.

I would not think much of such a person. I would not spend much time thinking of him at all, rather I think that I would call 911 and inform the authorities of the incident and allow them to enforce the law. I remember about 25 years ago, when I first got out of the military. I lived in a trailer court. One evening I could here screaming and crying from a neighbors trailer. I wanted to make sure I knew which home the noise was coming from. I looked closely at a trailer and I am sure that I could see the wall flexing out as this man threw his partner against the wall. I called the State Police and they acted as if they did not want to be bothered!

I think she needs to escape from this guy ASAP and seek any sort of help from whoever is able to help. IF it's her BF and it's her place kick him out and have 911 on your mind the second he comes around. Also a restraining order is a mandatory must.

My first thought is he's trash. But there really are different kinds. Some men beat their woman without wanting to, and some of them even ask for help. How strange is that? I think most of them are just scum who don't care such that they are more likely to be doing it. The victims are not always without guilt when they choose to be victims. I would be critical of both parties. Also there's an underreported category of woman who abuse their husbands. It's usually a sneak attack and usually with a weapon. When the man calls the police more often than not HE goes to jail just because the woman claims to fear for her life. It's where police are stupid. Most male victims are too embarrassed to tell anyone. But I'm guessing the majority picture is a scummy man who beats his wife because he doesn't care.

Most men who beat their woman or vise versa usually have control issues,he/she can't control thier own emotions or what is going on in thier life so they feel they have to control others.Alot of these people have grown-up w/abuse in thier childhood,which is by no means an excuse!These people need counseling!My first reaction would be to kick the sh*t out of them too,that would only compound this very prevelant social problem!!

That the 'modern world' is often overrated. In my day it would stop the moment that word would get to the ladies Father, Brother or kinsmen. Now, if she subsequentially was beaten again and chose to stay - it was their business to sort out.

IT lacks wisdom & understanding, and is an uncivilized creature unworthy of living within our society ... ... also, if a beating occurs more than once, and the wife/girlfriend does not leave, then she too lacks wisdom & understanding ... ... a professional soldier on a battlefield is the only type of person that should have to be dealing with violence ... domestic violence should have been extinct since our early beginnings of civilization ... it saddens me every time I see that violence still thrives ...
