  • Yes I helped my wife photograph one.
  • Yes, several..unfortunately there were no seats and all the guests had to stand throughout the ceremony..while the ceremony itself was lovely, we were all extremely uncomfortable standing for almost an hour..in addition, the ones held during warmer months caused us to be standing out in the bright sun...so if you're interested in having it look great, outside is fine..if you care about the comfort of your guests, I'd say have it inside where they can be seated and out of the direct sun.

  • no I have'nt.
  • ooh, yes. It was my cousin's. It was the best one I've been to. It was absolutely amazing. It was under a giant tree on a grassy hill. They used green and brown as their color scheme and had really nice decorations.
  • Yes, my daughter's best friend had her wedding outdoors. It was beautiful - she rode her horse up to the beginning of the "aisle," then her father helped her off the horse and walked her up to her fiance.
  • Yes, in July. It was lovely.
  • All three of the wedding's I've been to have been outdoors.
  • Yes, my nephew's wedding in San Diego was outside by the ocean, on the Naval base. I also went to a wedding on the fingerlakes in NY that was outside.
  • Every wedding I have been to except one has been in a church. The other one was on a boat.
  • Yes, two. And one of those was my own.

  • Yes, both my wedding and my sister's wedding were held outdoors.
  • yea one was where they walked down the dock and got married on a skipjack it was pretty cool also i remember i was the flower girl and i wasnt allowed to wear any shoes..
  • Yes, a couple of them in fact. One was my brother's old roomate who got married at the Botanical Garden in Fort Worth. The 2nd was my own. We had a sunrise wedding in the hill country of Texas. I had just started a new job and didn't have any vacation time yet, so we had it on labor day weekend to get the extra day for our honeymoon. It was a sunrise wedding so that we would have more time to spend together on the trip as well. The wedding was on top of a hill, over looking a valley. We were surrounded by trees, with a clearing behind the minister which captured the sun rise as we said our vows.
  • I have perforemd many weddings out of doors. Some problems are sound...without a sound system only the front row of guests can hear what is being said. If the wedding is large, be sure to have a portable sound system available. Also, any music gets lost in the open. Wind can also be a problem, blowing flowers around, table settings get disturbed, clothing gets blown around. Women with high heels have trouble walking on soft ground. Grass stains may be a problem. Note the position of the sun and have it in the eyes of the minister, not the congregation (officiating officer, not the guests). Some people use tents but this can become expensive. Be sure to specify clothing to be worn if there is to be any hiking or climbing or difficult terrain. Of course rain is always a concern. Dress warmly or wear cool clothing, injunctions that should be added to the invitation. Also, where is the reception to be? If there is one. Consider potenti9al problems getting from the wedding o the reception. What about curious public? I did one at a hotel where many of the hotel guests kept watching and casually strolling by. Some may find this annoying.
  • my cousin's and it was lovely
  • yes my wedding was on the lake, very nice it was.
  • I was married outside at sunrise, and my youngest son was married in a beautiful mountain setting on a summer afternoon.
  • Yes. My younger sister was married in a beautiful flower garden section of a city park in Red Deer, Alberta. My father had his 3rd wedding (widowed twice) in a park also.
  • My wedding was outdoors. I found a little outdoor, open air pavilion with stone benches, overlooking a lake. It was a beautiful setting, but it was the hottest day of the year, and the guests all had to wait outside because we (my fiance, his family, my sister, and I) were all an hour and a half late! We were driving from 4 hours away for the wedding, and got behind a bad accident ( a semi overturned and spilled dogfood all over the highway!), so we were stuck in traffic forever (in the days before cell phones were affordable). It should have been an omen! The marriage didn't last!
  • Yes, I attended a wedding on a replica of a really old sailing ship whilst sailing around Sydney Harbour. It was fantastic. Best wedding I have ever been to.

  • Yes, including my own. It was the best choice we could have made.
  • Maybe 25-30 of them. Some in a park. Some on the beach. One was in a casino parking lot.
  • Yes. My brothers wedding. Half of it was inside where the reception was held but when they were married it was outside by a pond. It was a nice day too.
  • Yes, My fathers to my st. mother
  • Yes! And if the weather isn't just right, it is miserable. My first sister who got married, her's was outside and it was hot and humid. My other sister that got married, it rained and was humid. Then a very good friend of mine who got married, the weather was almost JUST right. So, you never know how the weather is going to be. It's unpredictable....especially if you live where I do. :)
