  • I am not a fan of horror movies, but when I was a child, I was watching The Wizard of Oz, and I found the monkey fight scenes terrifying.
  • The Exocits where her head turns around
  • House of wax, no scene in particular, purely if there was a close up of Paris Hilton's face!
  • Fahrenheit 9-11....where the Bush administration gets 'appointed' by the Supreme Court....;-D... . . .
  • The Exorcist; the first time she used "The Voice." brrrrrrr! {chills}
  • Jason coming out of the water at the end of Friday 13th was one of the scariest scenes in movie history.
  • The hand coming out of the grave at the end of Carrie.
  • The scene in Halloween II where he drowns that poor girl in the hot tub, plus that damn WRANG WRANG music that comes with it, as well as at the end where he walks right through the glass door. It was damn epic lol, but I didn't think that when I was ten. Also, the Zelda flashback in Pet Semetary.
  • In the movie the Changling when he replayed the tape of the seance they had when he was alone and you hear the ghost(Joseph) answering the questions the medium was asking. It wasn't so much a scary scene but the voice answering the questions was really creepy.
  • The Ring where she crawls out of the TV *shudder*
  • One of the last scenes in Amityville Horror (the original) when the guy goes back into the house to get the dog, and falls through the cellar steps into the blood, has always creeped me out. Also the scene in the Dawn of the dead (remake) when the people go to check on the pregnant girl who'd been bitten and strapped to the bed, and they come in to find the girls boyfriend holding the baby, the camera pans in and it's a little zombie baby~freaky!!
  • House on Haunted Hill when one of the actress look at her video camera recording the scene the dcotor/nurse operate on somebody. Then the doctor look at the camera as if he can see her thru it.
  • The original texas chainsaw massacre: the meat hook scene. Killer (of course) sticks an innocent girl on a meat hook and makes her watch as he cuts her boyfriend up with a chainsaw. Classic horror movie making.
  • 1963 The Haunting PLOT SPOILER!! During the night and the ungodly BANG! BANG! BANG!BOOM! going on ( what actually causes the sounds we never see), starting from the far ends of the house -- Then the bangs come closer and closer to Claire Bloom and Julie Harris' room -- " It's found us. It knows we're in here. "
  • catseye, when that little thing came out of the wall and tried to smoother the little girl, it still gives me nightmares
  • =====PLOT SPOILER ALERT!!!===== "The Silence of the Lambs" is not a supernatural horror picture, but a scene that almost gave me a coronary was when Lecter escapes. A policeman is being taken away in an ambulance. When he sat up I thought, "That's nice, the cop is feeling better." Then he pulls off his mask -- it's actually the dead cop's face! -- and you realize it's Lecter. That's about the most terrifying moment I've ever seen in a film.
