I think you answered your own question. Each non-gamete cell has 46 chromosomes. Gametes (sex cells, sperm of ova) has 23.

Dear friend, Gamates are haploid, that is it has half the number of chromosomes to create a fully functional individual cell. So your somatic cell is the fully integrated cell.
