How do I make a serious complaint against certain other users on here?
It has been brought to my attention that certain members are posting malicious LIES about other users, and as if that's not bad enough in itself they have been dragging me into it. I will not tolerate people posting lies about me. Nobody, no matter who they are, should be allowed to do this.

Unfortunately there is no staff department on Answerbag to contact. All you can do is click on the flag icon underneath the users answer and then select the option you think is best to report them. Try not to say anything to the person who is making lies about you otherwise it will make things worse. What you can do is copy and paste the link on Answerbag and add the link in the detail box that contains the question where they lied about you and let others know it is not true what the person says. If the person lying about you answers your question say nothing to them and flag their answer. Sometimes Answerbag can be useful in asking questions about other users depending on the seriousness of the situation. I like to listen to others and try to be useful in my words such as advice and suggestions. I’m sure there are a few others like that on here I think.

Jenny The Great ⭐ 3/29/2025, just so you and other users can know, there are two active Answerbag moderators in whom you can contact directly by leaving them a comment in their answers. They will respond to "urgent matters," and sometimes to give Answerbag updates. I found the moderators out of curiosity by reading some of their posts not long ago. Hint: one of their names starts with a "B." The other with an "L." If users are fortunate like me, they'll find the moderators.

Why would anyone drag you into it - when you're not a popular AB'er like me and other users who come to this site almost daily? You are rarely seen on Answerbag. Do you have any links to support your claims? Or are you just looking for attention?

He recently turned 70, and I've known him in real life since 1982. The link he emailed to me has now been deleted. A few of them did return when the new version of the site opened in 2016, but they didn't stay around very long. I can't say I'm altogether surprised if the way you treat people is anything to go by. Every comment I've seen you post has been negative, even if not actually trollish. -

That's been nearly 10 years ago since they were last seen in the old site. And this is why I'm letting you know - MOST of them were never seen in the new Answerbag. My comments are negative? By no means is it negative to let you when the old site closed down, and how MOST of the old members did not return to the new Answerbag. -

Nosmo, I have a good attitude. I am also willing to help you deal with the trolls. I'm easy to get along with once you get to know me. Any other Q&A site you go to, there will always be trolls. At least the new Answerbag is not infested with trolls like the old site.

Nosmo, I was on the old site from 2012-2015. I wasn't popular then. During those years, I only came to Answerbag to participate in the religious category and to have educational religious discussions. In the new Answerbag, I became popular, simply cause I participate in all categories. -

Stevo, not 5 years ago. Precisely, Answerbag started in 2003 and cancelled on 15 December 2015. Then in 2016, the new Answerbag (which is what we're using) started. In almost a decade, most of the old users from 2003-2015 are no longer with us. Only but a few returned. -

Stevo, I saw the Fluther link. That question was asked on December 13th, 2009. Many of those answers were given by former Answerbag users. Then there were many more users who stayed on Answerbag from 2010-2015. Some people as you see in this subject cannot get over the old Answerbag. The old site marked them for life. -
