That would mean that most are NOT atheists (at least: in 2009). *** The study was well-done. They only surveyed people working as scientists (as opposed to everyone who has a science degree). But of course we should expect worldwide statistics to be considerably different. For example: we might expect scientists from South and Central America to have a much higher percentage of theists, while scientists from China might have a much lower percentage, etc.
