Is it best to do what the customer asks or what they need?
Customer leaves car at workshope . With instructions fit new aitflow meter which he supplied. As workshop removed the airflowmeter they found big hole in the air dust they replaced the duct cleared the errors it appears to be all good. They have another car there same modlel with a damaged airflow meter waiting for a deliery next week.
Should they do as the first customer asked then put his old airflowmeter on the other car and send them both off.

Keep the customer updated, you don't want to be doing work that they won't pay for. To me it's a great idea, but I'm not the customer.
