Where in the US constitution does it say people shall be conscripted to fight wars?
Why do goverments think they can conscripte soldiers to fight their pathetic wars? Are any of you going to wake up this time?

"The authority to draft soldiers is granted to Congress by the U.S. Constitution under Article I, Section 8, Clause 12. This clause gives Congress the power to "raise and support Armies". This authority has been interpreted to include the power to implement conscription, or compulsory military service, as seen in historical instances like the Selective Service Act of 1917" The US started off with a war and there were conscriptions in the American revolution and the war of 1812. 8/7/24
