What Does this Commandment mean? You shall have no other gods before Me.
(Exodus 20:3) Does it imply that there are other gods out there but not as good or as nice as me; or does it mean that there is the only true god and the rest are just stone carvings? The reason I am asking is because I want to know if bible is referring to other people who have supernatural powers.

It means that man has a tendency to make effigies of idols, be it human, animal etc, even themselves, money, status, to worship and adore, before God the creator. As such where their attention is, that is where their heart is. 1 Sam 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. Mark 7:6 And He said to them, “Rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from me. Ephesians 3:17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love. Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 2 Thessalonians 3:5 May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ.

By itself it does not imply or indicate either of those things. By itself, it only indicates that there are other gods that are worshiped, without commenting on their reality or or lack thereof. *** Other Bible passages make it clear that there is only one actual deity that actually exists, that other deities are either (1) fiction, having no existence, or (2) real things, but things that are in fact not deities and have no supernatural abilities
