Hola (Spanish for hello - the H is silent in Hola)
-
I can say hello in several languages. My own language, we say "hilly hilly" our neighbors to the north say "huya kho" our neighbors to the east say "munuhoo". The padres taught us to say "Hola" I think the Armenians say "inch bis yis". The lady at the Chinese restaurant says "nee hau"the guys at the sushi bar say "konichiwa". There are probably more, but that's enough for now. 11/19/23
