  • No. Although FEDERAL elections (for example: mid-term Congressional elections) are held on the same day nation-wide, each state can arrange for voting on any state-specific issue on any date they wish. The next nationwide voting will be mid-term Congressional elections, which happens Nov 8 2022. *** NORMALLY states try to arrange for state voting to coincide with Federal voting, which is far more efficient in terms of money spent to "handle" the voting. *** In PA today we have ---primary elections (that is: voting for party nominees) ---, which each state sets up for itself. Many states have unique dates established for primary elections.
