  • Wow...hard to remember. Probably one of those Wonderful World of Disney or National Geographic nature documentaries. *** One I particular remember fascinating me was a documentary about pack rats. I think it was National Geographic . They set up several video cameras in a Western U.S. wilderness cabin that had been having problems with stuff missing (and they had discovered that it was pack rats). No humans in the documentary except for the narrator, for a whole season they studied the pack rats, putting various items out for them to take (or not) and seeing how they got to the items in the cabin and what sort of things they "traded" for the things that they...er, "acquired" from the cabin. *** Really fascinating to see a mouse-like animal pulling an "Indiana Jones" with the precious objects. Makes you wonder if they aren't very much smarter than imagined.
  • I watch so many its literally impossible to name one. However I really like A&E documentary about the Cuban Missile Crisis. I also like the one about Stalin's purges before WWII. Mao's Great Leap Forward is also a great one. Biography with Peter Graves, when it was actually about Biographies was my favorite channel back in the 2000's. I also LOVED American Justice with Bill Curtis. I also still love Power Privilege and Justice by Dominic Dunne. And don't forget "Monsters and Mysteries in America."
