  • Yes. I make once off donations to different charities like Dogs Trust, Concern, Water Aid and Sightsavers. It’s the thought that counts no matter how much you donate.

  • Many do. I donate what I no longer need, as long as its not totally trashed. I have occasionally donated my time and crochet. I seldom donate money, and when I do I usually donate through the fast offering at my Church. We are encouraged to fast one day a month and donate what we would have spent on those meals to help the less fortunate. No one is paid for their work at my Church, so 100% goes to the needy. I do have several favorites I've considered giving to, if anyone needs suggestions: Operation Smile, Mercy Ships, Rape victims of the Congo, Fistula patients in Africa, or organizations to help children forced into war and child sex trade.

  • not any more I used to donate to the salvo's until the salvo I used to give money to was proven a thief it was proven he was keeping more than half the donations he received. I used to give him money every Friday for years.
