  • No President has too much power. There is a checks-and-balances system to prevent it. What we're witnessing at present would be referred to as "overreach" - trying to circumvent Congress by writing executive orders. Even though most of his overreach is put into effect by his own controlling administration, some or most of his executive orders are technically illegal because the executive branch of government cannot make laws - that's the role of the legislative branch. But because we have a government that has run amok, they're doing it anyway. Marxism works that way.
