maybe he's buying time. If that $5T bill passes and Biden signs it into law, this country will be bankrupt--that includes Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and every other social program the gov't funds.

Why is it that Liberals believe that money grows on trees? Please explain where the money would come from to fund all of the pork that the Democrats want to waste money on - like climate change and setting illegals up with free everything. You people seem to think that if more money is needed, it can just be printed. Maybe you should educate yourself on Weimar Germany. In January 1920, the exchange rate was 64.8 Marks to one US dollar; by November 1923, the rate was 4,200,000,000,000 Marks to one US dollar. You can't just produce money out of nothing. But each year, the US government tries to do just that. Waste programs should not be funded and this is what Republicans are trying to trim out of the package.
